Be a Suburban Farmer

Bring your rubber boots and appropriate weather gear to get a glimpse into the “how-to” of small-scale, sustainable farming-ranching. We will be feeding and watering goats, chickens, & horses, as well as gathering eggs, cleaning pens, and mixing the grains for the evening feeding, followed perhaps by some milking, trimming hooves, and checking bee hives.  With morning chores done we will launch into some of the tips, tricks, pitfalls, rewards, fellowship and fun of small scale farming over a late morning farmers breakfast of pancakes and fresh farm eggs.

$5 materials fee will be added at checkout.
