This class is centered on learning to use a handgun for personal protection. Discussion will include carry and use laws, analysis of the effectiveness of various tools for personal protection, emotional aspects of carrying and using a handgun, terminology and types of firearms, safety and proper handling of firearms, how to select a handgun for personal use, care and feeding of firearms.

This will be a seminar format with hands on and show and tell session (with unloaded firearms only). All firearms for the class will be supplied. You may only bring personal weapons by pre-arrangement with instructor.
