Delicious, Mouth-watering Yankee Pot Roast is coming to GorgePrep!

This meal is to die for!  It is so very, very good you and everyone else you know will be asking for seconds and even third servings.  And guess what?  This delicious dinner is as simple to make as "boiling water and stirring!"  GorgePrep's own Meals-in-a-Jar" instructor, Tracey, will be hosting our Winter Meals-in-a-Jar I workshop on Tuesday, January 21. So sign up now or be sorry!

All of our "Meals-in-a-Jar" workshop use great tasting ingredients from Thrive (sold at our Merc!) that have been freeze dried to maximize long-term shelf life, although we seriously doubt any of your meals-in-a-jar will last the 7 to 10 years that they can safely be left on your shelves (ours lasted about 5 days before we served it to a house full of company).

An amazing day at the Camas Mother's Day Plant Fair!  Sunny skies, a mildly-hot day, a gentle breeze, combined with the day before Mother's Day and lots of great deals brought a lot of people to this annual event.

And GorgePrep.com was "Prepared!"  With up to 6 workshop instructors on hand, we spent the day talking with the more than 200 folks who stopped by to find out more about "being prepared for all the what-if's."

From discussing workshop offerings, the free Monday night (7-9pm) free Urban Surivival Open Forum Meeting, to tasting "magnificent (freeze dried) corn" and the importance of keeping a week plus of extra food on hand (to order go to GorgePrep.ThriveLife.com), to talking about keeping honey bees people were interested in "living a prepared life!"

For all the folks who stopped by at the booth and to those who didn't remember to use the offer code: MDPF   by Sunday night to get "buy one workshop-bring  friend for free."

Our first class was a success!

Our first class was a success!

GorgePrep.com (Gorge Preparedness, LLC) had their FIRST workshop last night (April 23, 2013), with Mark at the helm of “Ladies Only: Handguns for Protection.” Mark had a great balance in the breath and depth of information without being too overwhelming in the details. The workshop was a great “overview” and I encourage every woman out there to come and bring a friend or two!

The next date for this workshop is Tuesday, May 21 from 7 to 9pm at the First Christian Church in Camas 404 NE 6th Ave, Camas 98607 (corner of 6th & Cedar).

Workshops are held in the basement of the second church building (the eastward of the two buildings). Workshops are most easily accessed from midway down Cedar Street, which is a one-way street running south (towards downtown Camas).

May Special: Sign up for a "May Workshop" and use the code "May" to receive 25% off your registration fee!!
